Our story
A driving school is a business. It deserves better than a notebook.
DriveSync came out of a simple frustration: people running one of the most important businesses in the country were doing it with a paper diary, a WhatsApp group and a shoebox of receipts.
The problem we set out to solve
South Africa has thousands of registered driving schools, and most are small businesses: a few instructors, a handful of cars, and an owner who is also the manager, the bookkeeper and often still an instructor.
Those owners were taking bookings on WhatsApp, tracking progress in notebooks and chasing payments from memory. Every hour of that is an hour not spent teaching or growing the school, and the mistakes it causes are the expensive kind: two learners promised the same car, an instructor sent across town for a lesson that moved.
What we are doing about it
We build DriveSync with South African school owners rather than for them. The features that matter here are the ones an overseas booking tool has never had to think about: K53 test bookings, licence codes from A1 to EC, trailers, walk-in learners, and cash that changes hands at the car.
We are early and we say so. A small number of schools use DriveSync every day, their instructors are on it every morning, and what they ask for is what gets built next. That is a better way to build this than guessing at scale.

No setup fee, ever
You pay the monthly or annual subscription and nothing else. There is no onboarding charge, no per-learner fee and no migration invoice.
No contract to sign
Nothing to lock you in for a year. The trial takes no card details, and you decide at the end of it whether to carry on.
Cancel it yourself
One button in your billing settings, no phone call and no retention conversation. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Your data is not the product
Each school’s records are separate, everyone signs in with their own account, and we never sell or share what is in your system.
